Llosh Winne Music
Llosh Winne and his band Llosh & Found have been playing music together on the Big Island of Hawai’i for two years. Llosh started singing at young age when he joined his elementary school choir in Homer, Alaska. His introduction to music was facilitated by his music teacher Atz Kilcher, father of well-known musician, Jewel. In high school, Llosh continued with his love of singing by performing in musicals, including West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Les Miserables, and Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. After graduating high school in Homer, Llosh moved to Seattle where he started playing guitar at age 19. Llosh formed a Seattle-based band, Cambered Souls, and they played together for three years. At age 27, Llosh moved to Kohala on the Big Island of Hawai’i, where he formed his current band, Llosh & Found. Llosh & Found represents musicians and friends that he has formed a strong connection with in Hawai’i. Bandmembers include Austin Reigh Hall (Bass) and Virgil Zeidman (Cajon, Ukulele, Vocals). The group also features Kaahele, a Big Island-based solo artist providing vocal harmonies and the sounds of the baritone ukulele. Llosh & Found is a blend of Soul/Rock and Roots music. All the songs they perform are original with the intention to touch the hearts, minds, and souls of their audience. The songs Llosh writes are the stories of his life which, most recently, are of happiness. Llosh hopes you enjoy the musical narration of his life.
Llosh Box Drums
I started building drums because I wanted to learn how to play drums. I feel there is something spiritual to drumming. Like a heartbeat, drumming is a connection to the purest roots of time and nature. Drumming is a fundamental trigger that effects mood and environment.
My cajones are hand-made and custom-built to meet the needs of each drummer. Customer-driven, my drum building is an artistic, creative, collaborative process with extreme attention to detail. I build solid instruments that are durable and dynamic, with a big sound and a quality guarantee.
My mission is to create two styles of drums: the first is affordable for any player and the second is the best sounding cajon of the highest quality. I want to focus on exotic woods, specifically Hawaiian woods.
Llosh Box Drums are unique because they are three to four playable surfaces. Based on the idea of a drum kit, I strive to build the ultimate cajon that is playable on as many sides as possible to offer a variety of sounds. My mission is to focus on the deep tones of a kick drum all the way up to high tones, with emphasis on the deep. The benefit of a Llosh Box Drum is easier travel for musicians by alleviating the drummer’s challenge of having to travel with a lot of equipment.
